Airtel Internet through Mobile Phone as Modem

Hi i use samsung GT s33310 mobile.Recently i have activated mobile office.
i installed settings though message.I had opened pc studio to make a new connection I went to internet option then selected samsung modem then
selected country then network provider airtel 2G it automaically shows
APN name as airtelgprs.com and phone no is *99**1*1# then i left user name and password blank then i press ok.Then it makes connection for me but whenever i dial it it shows error message that ERROR 734 Protocol control terminated.Please tell me solution step by step to connect to internet using this mobile

in my comp internet gets connected but when i open my explorer it shows that you are not connected to net. what should i do?

I am using airtel mobile office through sonyerricson k610i 3g phone with my lap top.
I have getting only 2.5kbps while downloading.
how i can increase the speed.

Please suggest me. I have Nokia 7210 supernova, and I am using Airtel GPRS internet. Bur downloading speed slow 5-6 Kbps. i surf thru internet exploder6 and google chrome. Can I increase downloading speed by using any add on or internet accellerator...is in phone there is edge class 10 facilty.

The unlimited internet plan using your mobile as a modem has been withdrawn on Airtel and they have different tariff plans now. Which is not a viable option if you ask me they are very expensive and not that worth.

If its activated, then call up customer care again and ask them to send you settings for mobile office so that you can start browsing internet on your mobile

after using i've realised that the Net connection is giving normal speed is 5kbps n max speed is 10kbps.
while downloading it's giving 0.3kbps n max 3.0 kbps,

Guys, the airtel mobile office download speeds depends upon the handset u use. If the handsent only supports GPRS then the speed will be slow whereas if the handset supports EDGE Class 10 (which has 247 kbps speed) then u will get download speed even above 21 kbps. Also use Download Manager such as Download Accelerator to increase your download speed and there are lot of registry tweaks which can increase your download speed by increasing the utilization of bandwith. The speed of airtel mobile office also depends upon the signal strength and the amount of data transfer i.e. (incoming and outgoing calls) happenining within the route.

gives Max speed of 34-40kbps this technology is CDMA or GPRS its is best for your voice usage because it takes fixed bandwidth of 34kbps whereas your data requirement for bandwidth varies with different applications..... However you dont have any option when you r in roaming or out of your home or office also there your billing is calculated on per-minute basis rather than per-MB as in broadband...........

I am not sure, but service provider can always track it & can sue him. So it's better to not to go in that way. About the speed, it should be same as you are getting, unless phone you are using is slow.
