The above subject refers to "Phishing" of security information thru internet which is a Cyber Crime.
Banks will never ask for updation of passwords thru internet.
If the Internet banking password is blocked; banks will ask to apply for fresh password thru Phone Banking or at ATM machines or applying directly from respective branches.
Always check the URL's before entering security information like User/Login ID, Log in password & Transaction password.
Secondly do not carry any transactions in unprotected PC's at Cybercafes.
If any of the sites are asking for updation of passwords, pl check the URL link and report the same to corresponding bank.

In brief, a 'phishing' email is one that pretends to be from a company or bank and which asks you, (for various reasons), to enter your account data, such as login details. These scams are often supported by fake spoof websites, and victims are tricked into thinking they are logging to a real website. Phishing is a form of identity theft, where fraudsters steal your identity and personal information to gain access to your accounts or commit other crimes using your persona.

You should not click on the link which you are not sure about. There are chances that some spywares may get downloaded to your system and pass your system information to hackers.
