    sir i lost my mobil 3230.in that i saved some imp data and i put code also.if anybody changed sim card so still data is there in that cell.and whenever i switch off my mobil and then switch on it asks pin code? if some body get my mobile will they able to open the code?or if that person enter 3times wrong code.it will ask puk no.so i want to know whether my data is safe in my lost cell or not?and that mobile theief can use my mobile?

    I had Very bad experience with Nokia care Residency Road Branch.

    My Nokia 2630 Display has gone bad and the product is still under warranty period. 4 weeks back they checked and told they will replace the display and asked to come back afer giving a call. They did not log any complain but took a note. When contacted Nokia they said to log complain and then they can check if it is not repaired in 20 days.

    I checked again with NOKIA care yesterday and they still do not have spares. Instead of scribling in note book why do not NOKIA make a process of entering every call made logged in system, specifically when their service engineer has ascertained that the product is under warranty and the Display needs to be replaced.

    With this experience with NOKIA service I do not see any difference having NOKIA and surely have to think twice for going for NOKIA product in near future. I Still do not know how long will it take . . . .

    We purchase new mobile on dated 28.08.2008 at 19.30 from your Dealer National Enterprise, Rly. Station Rd, Jalgaon (Maharastra), Pin 425001. Cash Memo No C 02145 Dated 28.08.2008. 6220 C Nokia Handset, IMEI No -352922020452206, Battery 0509.

    We are facing lot of problem in last 4-5 days in this 6220 handset details as follows,

    1) Contact Key is not operating and when it open Mobil hang-up.
    2) If open any functions the shows Memory full delete some application. i. e. In Camera, Messages, Contacts etc.
    3) When Open the menu bar, it does not scroll any where i.e. Up-Down OR Left-Right.
    4) When we open the application it does not exit
    5) Most of the time any function is not in use.
    6) Cannot send more message at a time i.e. In Group = we send massage at a time near about 125 to 168 Members in our Group and minimum 26 Members.
    7) Memory card is 1 GB and Supported up to 8GB ? Pl confirm.

    We contact to your Dealer shop meet on 31.08.2008 in that time he Switch off the Mobile and again ON and told me we complete all setting done if any problem pl come again.

    But our problem is not solve still continue, same problem in this handset. We surprise the Memory card is 1 GB + phone memory but is not working / supporting. We follow-up 3-4 time to your dealer on dt 03.09.2008 but no responsible/proper person available in shop?

    We see life timer it show 2766 Hrs on dt 02.09.2008. But we purchase handset before 4-5 days only ( 2 day is not working), We call your dealer Mr. Bhushan Palod (M- 9970880000) are you sell Second hand set in Nokia Show Room? In that time he told me this Life timer is malfunctioning.

    We are sending our Handset to your Service Center through your Dealer on dt 04.08.2008. Your Service Center download New software and remove Memory card and told me please reformat the Memory card from outside person and use it, till time you use without memory card, THIS IS ADVISIBLE FROM NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE ? We Reformat Memory card from outside person if any problem in my Handset in that time the responsibility of Nokia and Nokia Service Center OR Dealer because he told me in oral not in writing and change the Handset immediately.

    We Reformatting the Handset from outside it O.K. for 2-3 day. Sir on date 08/09/2008 again same problem occurred to my cell phone i.e. it is hanging again and again as same problem of above and now its life timer shows 4464.

    Sir we request to you Please change this Handset in Model No E 51 OR N 73 OR you suggest instead of 6220, because we are not using in any malfunctioning handset.

    Nokia is reputed company and he is not selling any faulty handset because we are using Nokia handset regularly.

What is the probabaility that I will get replacement for the piece? and Is it fine to visit any of the Nokia Center in bangalore if a phone is bought form Maharashtra??

    Hi,
    As I have told you I use my phone very less. I may hardly get 6 to 7 calls per day or at the most 10 calls which may consist of around 30 to 40 mins a day. And about listening to music, I listen to it very rarely like once in a month and that too may be for a 10 mins or so. One more problem what I am facing is the handset suddenly gets hanged sometimes even without using any software from that. Please help me out.

    As I have told you I use my phone very less. I may hardly get 6 to 7 calls per day or at the most 10 calls which may consist of around 30 to 40 mins a day. And about listening to music, I listen to it very rarely like once in a month and that too may be for a 10 mins or so. One more problem what I am facing is the handset suddenly gets hanged sometimes even without using any software from that. Please help me out.

    To get you problem solved follow this way for complaining authority.. If step1 doesn’t help anyways, jump to next step after waiting for few days..

    1. Report the issue at Nokia Care and ask them for docket number.

    2. Mail senior authorities (get mail id from http://www.nokia.co.in) of Nokia with the reference no you got from nokia care, and do not forget to add a lots of CC to the mail you send.. Carbon copy the mail to as many telecom related people, forums, Nokia customer grievance cell, etc….

    That will surely help you sort your problem if you really face problem with the new handset battery.

    I had been to a Nokia Care (located Tippasandra, bangalore), where i observed that the customer care executive fighting with customer.
    I never expected that same thing is going to happen with me also!!!!!!!

    I asked for taking customer feedback and complain on my mobile. and also i asked for service for the mobile.
    He directly told that they dont give service for nokia key pads and nokia is not providing any service for that.
    He dint even take it for servicing. He told that he dont want any feed back on nokia mobiles issues other than screen related and software, if anything other than these two go to any out side shop pay 120 Rs they will make it proper.

    HE ALSO TOLD THAT “FOR SUCH LOW COST ISSUES PLEASE NEVER GO TO ANY NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE”.

    My concern is how a customer care executive can be so rude and care less about his customers.

    Very true Shanthala..!! I'm afraid the customer who the executives were fighting with is me..!!! The executives are into minting money by not fixing the actual issue the mobile was given for..!! when i approached back the executive to inform about the issue that's still not fixed even after giving it for service, to my surprise he even denied that i had given the mobile for a display issue.! I guess the executive must have fixed his personal mobile display issue with my mobile warranty..@@ What a DISGUSTING people at NIKIA CARE..!!

    I have a similar story to share..! A horrifying experience with Nokia service center located at INDRANAGAR (tippasandra) Bangalore.

    ISSUE: The display does not work (however the display would work now and then if the handset heats up)..
    WARRANTY: 18th April 2009 to 18th April 2010.
    Handset Model: 5800 music express(Touch screen).

    On 16th April 2010 I had been to the Nokia service center located at INDRANAGAR (tippasandra) Bangalore.

    >The lady at the reception asked me to wait for 10 minutes while the technicians will diagnose the mobile and isolate what the issue is.
    >The lady came back and told me that its a “HANGING PROBLEM”
    >She asked me to mention it as “HANGING PROBLEM” in the job sheet. I mentioned it as she instructed me to.
    >I was asked to come back after 10 days to collect the phone.
    >I had to call Mr.Raju the supervisor incharge of the store requesting him to fasten the repair process. He spoke to the executive and asked him to return the mobile in 4 days. However the pick up date on the job sheet was 25th April.

    On 22nd @ 11am I went to the store (I had to board a flight the same evening):
    >I was asked to wait for another 20minutes. (At this point the executives had realized that my mobile issue is yet to be fixed. So they just updated the mobile software to the latest version.)
    >The mobile was handed over to me and i found that they had restored the mobile and update the software. And the mobile seems to be working.
    >I also confirmed about the after service warranty with the technician and he said if i happen to face the same issue i can come back with in 30 days and they'll fix it.
    >Reached home only to find my mobile display back to the same old issue.
    >”I was so frustrated and upset. Because these days its not so easy to get time out from work to visit these center to get issue fixed. And now even after I managed to compromise the phone and time, they haven't bothered to fix the issue.”

    Way to the airport:
    >I'm not able to use the phone. Display isn't working.
    >Hope NOKIA realizes how horrible it is to travel with a phone which is not in a working condition.
    >I've had to compromise with so many things. I even had to face hard time to get in-touch with the person who had come to pick me up at the airport.

    Back To Bangalore On 20th May:
    >Went back to the store and informed the same technician about the issue not fixed.
    >”"__What shocked me was the technician completely denied that i had given the mobile for display issue. He said the mobile had HANGING PROBLEM which cannot be considered as display issue.__”"

    1) Now who informed me that its a HANGING PROBLEM..??
    Ans: It was the technician who had isolated the issue after diagnosing and named the display problem as HANGING PROBLEM.

    2) Though display issue, i was instructed to mention it as HANGING PROBLEM in the job sheet.
    Ans: Though it was a clear display issue the executive instructed me to mention the issue as HANGING PROBLEM in the job sheet. I did so, expecting that the technician knows the actually issue as he had diagnosed the handset.

    >AM I SO DUMB THAT I WOULD SET UP A REPAIR FOR AN ISSUE THAT DIDN'T EXIST..!

    >As there is only 2 days left for the warranty to expire,
    They claim that they cannot fix the issue as the mobile was not given for a display issue. “(which is absolutely false)”

    Now they want me to cough up Rs.3000 if i wanted them to fix it.

    >Spoke to the supervisor Mr.Raju over the phone. (who was acting like executive's puppet and he was of no help too.!) for over 2 hrs trying to explain him the truth. However, he proved to be just like any other irresponsible officials we meet now and then..!!

    Now i have thrown the mobile in a garbage.! I avoid using nokia phones and also suggest friends and people not to buy any nokia product as its the worst product once sold.!!!

    I had a very horrible experience with Nokia care center @ Tippasandra Indira Nagar. I would suggest all to contact any other nearest support centers , if you want to get your mobile repaired. I think the customer service executive have broken all records by telling lies when ever we called or visited the centre.

    Now I have thrown my mobile in garbage and will never buy a Nokia set again , not becuase of the product quality BUT ONLY BCOS OF THE AFTER SALES SERVICE.

    The following service centre Mend Square G004, 136 Cears Plaza, Opp. to Bangalore Club Residency Road, Bangalore is a shit place were a customer loosed his temper. These stupid people took my phone before a month back and were not able identify what was the issue with it. and you can never expect a call from their end and very careless about the customer. I do not know on what basis these nokia people are authrizin these stupid people.

    I have a very similar experience at the same Indiranagar service Center.. i had to part away with my phone for 4 whole days… only to know that they have just ‘updated the software’, instead of solving the problem of my display issue. I have N97 mini. Later, when i went to collect my phone, they took back the job sheet. when i asked for a copy of the job sheet (for my future reference).. they ALTOGETHER denied it!!!! and said that, we can give u a job no.. and u can qoute the same if required!! Feeling like a looser, I took back my phone home.. only to know that the problem still exists!!

    I have handed over my mobile model no. 7230 to your service centre on 1st October 2011.  The Job sheet number is 304465550/111001/29.  I was informed that your centre would be calling me on the number I had provided to inform when the phone would be repaired.  I have approached your centre three times after that to find out when the phone would be repaired and delivered, but every time I was either infomed that it will take 11 days or I will recieve a call once it is repaired.
     
    It is very unfortunate to note that it is more than 3 weeks now and when ever I call I am told that it will take 11 days.  It looks as though that your centre is not putting any efforts either to repair my phone nor get the required spares whatsoever to repair the phone.
     
    This phone model was purchase only a year and a half back and has gone bad.  If this is the way Nokia care is treating its customers I am sorry to say that customers would soon loose faith with Nokia phones.
     
    Please let me know if the phone can be repaired or not.  If you cannot repair the phone your should be suggesting what needs to be done to get the phone repaired.  I would be forced to wirte to Nokia on the present state and ask for their help.
     
    Please reply ASAP to let me know as to when you would be delivering the phone after repair.

     I have handed my phone for repair model no 6322 on 30 october  2011. they told once they check they will let us know by phone which i had provided in application foam what’s the service charges and when can i recieve the phone but they did not called me after 5 days when i went and enquire they did not touch the phone it self it was laying as it is. When i went again next after 3 days that time suddenly they told me cost of the charges and it was repaired. But after 10 again phone is same problem it is not working same earlier problem now tell whom i want to contact ( NOKIA SERVICE IS VERY VERY BAD IN RAJAJI NAGAR ) SUGGESTING TO PLACE SOME GOOD EXPRIENCED GUY’S.
