I had Very bad experience with Nokia care Residency Road Branch.
My Nokia 2630 Display has gone bad and the product is still under warranty period. 4 weeks back they checked and told they will replace the display and asked to come back afer giving a call. They did not log any complain but took a note. When contacted Nokia they said to log complain and then they can check if it is not repaired in 20 days.
I checked again with NOKIA care yesterday and they still do not have spares. Instead of scribling in note book why do not NOKIA make a process of entering every call made logged in system, specifically when their service engineer has ascertained that the product is under warranty and the Display needs to be replaced.
With this experience with NOKIA service I do not see any difference having NOKIA and surely have to think twice for going for NOKIA product in near future. I Still do not know how long will it take . . . .

We purchase new mobile on dated 28.08.2008 at 19.30 from your Dealer National Enterprise, Rly. Station Rd, Jalgaon (Maharastra), Pin 425001. Cash Memo No C 02145 Dated 28.08.2008. 6220 C Nokia Handset, IMEI No -352922020452206, Battery 0509.
We are facing lot of problem in last 4-5 days in this 6220 handset details as follows,
1) Contact Key is not operating and when it open Mobil hang-up.
2) If open any functions the shows Memory full delete some application. i. e. In Camera, Messages, Contacts etc.
3) When Open the menu bar, it does not scroll any where i.e. Up-Down OR Left-Right.
4) When we open the application it does not exit
5) Most of the time any function is not in use.
6) Cannot send more message at a time i.e. In Group = we send massage at a time near about 125 to 168 Members in our Group and minimum 26 Members.
7) Memory card is 1 GB and Supported up to 8GB ? Pl confirm.
We contact to your Dealer shop meet on 31.08.2008 in that time he Switch off the Mobile and again ON and told me we complete all setting done if any problem pl come again.
But our problem is not solve still continue, same problem in this handset. We surprise the Memory card is 1 GB + phone memory but is not working / supporting. We follow-up 3-4 time to your dealer on dt 03.09.2008 but no responsible/proper person available in shop?
We see life timer it show 2766 Hrs on dt 02.09.2008. But we purchase handset before 4-5 days only ( 2 day is not working), We call your dealer Mr. Bhushan Palod (M- 9970880000) are you sell Second hand set in Nokia Show Room? In that time he told me this Life timer is malfunctioning.
We are sending our Handset to your Service Center through your Dealer on dt 04.08.2008. Your Service Center download New software and remove Memory card and told me please reformat the Memory card from outside person and use it, till time you use without memory card, THIS IS ADVISIBLE FROM NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE ? We Reformat Memory card from outside person if any problem in my Handset in that time the responsibility of Nokia and Nokia Service Center OR Dealer because he told me in oral not in writing and change the Handset immediately.
We Reformatting the Handset from outside it O.K. for 2-3 day. Sir on date 08/09/2008 again same problem occurred to my cell phone i.e. it is hanging again and again as same problem of above and now its life timer shows 4464.
Sir we request to you Please change this Handset in Model No E 51 OR N 73 OR you suggest instead of 6220, because we are not using in any malfunctioning handset.
Nokia is reputed company and he is not selling any faulty handset because we are using Nokia handset regularly.

Normally Nokia phone comes with all India warranty. You can visit your near Nokia Service Center.

As I have told you I use my phone very less. I may hardly get 6 to 7 calls per day or at the most 10 calls which may consist of around 30 to 40 mins a day. And about listening to music, I listen to it very rarely like once in a month and that too may be for a 10 mins or so. One more problem what I am facing is the handset suddenly gets hanged sometimes even without using any software from that. Please help me out.

Then I can surely say that it might be a faulty battery with some kind of manufacturing defects. You express your problem with a written letter and get a copy of it received from the Nokia Care guys.. I am sure it will really help you out.
About unusual hanging of set it might be because high usage of memory.. How much memory have you extended to it and what is the exact amount of consumption till date??

As I am from Orissa, I don’t know much about B’lore, but I think visiting any nearest Nokia Care will do. Just give them a written complain about it and get a copy of the letter received by the sales executive (with seal, designation & complain no.), its obvious that they’ll deny to receive a copy of the letter but you request them to do so.. And once they receive the letter and book a complain, then see the wonders

I bought NOKIA 2680 mobile one week back. I dont know what happend suddenly mobile diplay is not working. I went to one of the NOKIA CARE centers in BANGALORE. They are saying it is a PHYSICAL DAMAGE, so they are not providing any WARRANTY for that. Even though i didn’t do anything with this mobile i accepted. I asked them how much it costs..they said around 1500-1600. I was calling all the NOKIA CARE centers in BANGAORE nobody is having the LCD for this model.It is waste of buying this mobile.
Please dont buy this mobile.

Now I am back in India and I have some problems with my phone display like dead pixels showing up and one of the speakers not working. I have the original bill and the warranty card that I got when I bought the phone. So, since the phone is still under warranty, can I get is serviced for free in India?

Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased a mobile on 14/8/08 from Big Bzr and having faced problems, I visited Shilak RT Ngr, Blore on 16 Sep 08 vide Job No 70. I was given replacement having IMEI 355721020789212 on 13/10/08. I also gave my Memory Card which is mentioned in ibid Job Order. Since my Memory Card misplaced/lost at your centre, I was given another memory card which was found defective. When I sent my rep to your centre, a lady manning telephone contacted me saying she would ring back me within half an hour but no reponse thereafter. This is regarding my Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phone battery backup problem which I have already discussed. As you suggested me, I went to the Nokia Care 3 times, and first two times they have just updated the software, but the problem was not solved. But on the third time when I insisted to change the battery itself and after 15 days or so I got a call from them saying you can come and collect the battery. But by seeing the condition of that battery I didnt feel that it is a new battery, but anyhow I thought it might be the new one. But still I am facing the same problem again and again as it is giving very less backup, may be like 1 day at the max. (even when I am talking for more than 30 mins a day and not using the music “AT ALL”). Please help me out what to do now. And now I think the warranty period is also over as I brought my mobile in June 08, but I have been making rounds to Nokia Care since past two months or so….plz plz help me out…..I am frustrated now.

To get you problem solved follow this way for complaining authority.. If step1 doesn’t help anyways, jump to next step after waiting for few days..
1. Report the issue at Nokia Care and ask them for docket number.
2. Mail senior authorities (get mail id from http://www.nokia.co.in) of Nokia with the reference no you got from nokia care, and do not forget to add a lots of CC to the mail you send.. Carbon copy the mail to as many telecom related people, forums, Nokia customer grievance cell, etc….
That will surely help you sort your problem if you really face problem with the new handset battery.

Nokia should give Training for its customer care executives for handling customers.
I had been to a Nokia Care (located Tippasandra, bangalore), where i observed that the customer care executive fighting with customer.
I never expected that same thing is going to happen with me also!!!!!!!
I asked for taking customer feedback and complain on my mobile. and also i asked for service for the mobile.
He directly told that they dont give service for nokia key pads and nokia is not providing any service for that.
He dint even take it for servicing. He told that he dont want any feed back on nokia mobiles issues other than screen related and software, if anything other than these two go to any out side shop pay 120 Rs they will make it proper.
HE ALSO TOLD THAT “FOR SUCH LOW COST ISSUES PLEASE NEVER GO TO ANY NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE”.
My concern is how a customer care executive can be so rude and care less about his customers.
Is any forums of nokia, where i can complain on this issue? so that nokia takes care of training its customer care executive.

i was installing an update available for my cell nokia xpress music…from dis OVI SOFTWARE…..n there was a power cutoff…….n now my cell is all blank …its not starting …..wht to do ???
