Dear Sir,

We purchase new mobile on dated 28.08.2008 at 19.30 from your Dealer National Enterprise, Rly. Station Rd, Jalgaon (Maharastra), Pin 425001. Cash Memo No C 02145 Dated 28.08.2008. 6220 C Nokia Handset, IMEI No -352922020452206, Battery 0509.

We are facing lot of problem in last 4-5 days in this 6220 handset details as follows,

1) Contact Key is not operating and when it open Mobil hang-up.
2) If open any functions the shows Memory full delete some application. i. e. In Camera, Messages, Contacts etc.
3) When Open the menu bar, it does not scroll any where i.e. Up-Down OR Left-Right.
4) When we open the application it does not exit
5) Most of the time any function is not in use.
6) Cannot send more message at a time i.e. In Group = we send massage at a time near about 125 to 168 Members in our Group and minimum 26 Members.
7) Memory card is 1 GB and Supported up to 8GB ? Pl confirm.

We contact to your Dealer shop meet on 31.08.2008 in that time he Switch off the Mobile and again ON and told me we complete all setting done if any problem pl come again.

But our problem is not solve still continue, same problem in this handset. We surprise the Memory card is 1 GB + phone memory but is not working / supporting. We follow-up 3-4 time to your dealer on dt 03.09.2008 but no responsible/proper person available in shop?

We see life timer it show 2766 Hrs on dt 02.09.2008. But we purchase handset before 4-5 days only ( 2 day is not working), We call your dealer Mr. Bhushan Palod (M- 9970880000) are you sell Second hand set in Nokia Show Room? In that time he told me this Life timer is malfunctioning.

We are sending our Handset to your Service Center through your Dealer on dt 04.08.2008. Your Service Center download New software and remove Memory card and told me please reformat the Memory card from outside person and use it, till time you use without memory card, THIS IS ADVISIBLE FROM NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE ? We Reformat Memory card from outside person if any problem in my Handset in that time the responsibility of Nokia and Nokia Service Center OR Dealer because he told me in oral not in writing and change the Handset immediately.

We Reformatting the Handset from outside it O.K. for 2-3 day. Sir on date 08/09/2008 again same problem occurred to my cell phone i.e. it is hanging again and again as same problem of above and now its life timer shows 4464.

Sir we request to you Please change this Handset in Model No E 51 OR N 73 OR you suggest instead of 6220, because we are not using in any malfunctioning handset.

Nokia is reputed company and he is not selling any faulty handset because we are using Nokia handset regularly.

I bought Nokia 3600 slide on 5th of this month. for 2 days it worked fine but then it started restart everytime when i listen to the music. doesn’t matter whether it is music player or radio. What is the probabaility that I will get replacement for the piece? and Is it fine to visit any of the Nokia Center in bangalore if a phone is bought form Maharashtra??

Normally Nokia phone comes with all India warranty. You can visit your near Nokia Service Center.

I have an N70 Model which has a problem in the memory card was not sensing properly. Can we change the memory card tray?

I have bought the NOKIA 5310 XpressMusic phone in June’08 but I am facing the problem with battery backup. I can hardly use it for a day even when I am not using it more. I just want to know whether the problem is with only my handset or others are also facing the same problem. And the software is also a bit slow when compared to other phones. As I have told you I use my phone very less. I may hardly get 6 to 7 calls per day or at the most 10 calls which may consist of around 30 to 40 mins a day. And about listening to music, I listen to it very rarely like once in a month and that too may be for a 10 mins or so. One more problem what I am facing is the handset suddenly gets hanged sometimes even without using any software from that. Please help me out.

Then I can surely say that it might be a faulty battery with some kind of manufacturing defects. You express your problem with a written letter and get a copy of it received from the Nokia Care guys.. I am sure it will really help you out.

About unusual hanging of set it might be because high usage of memory.. How much memory have you extended to it and what is the exact amount of consumption till date??

To whom should I write a letter and may I know which NOKIA service center should I go as I am from Bangalore, and I would like to know whether the battery can be replaced as I think it might be in the warranty period. Please guide me….thx

As a TechB reader, looking for your problem to be solved ASAP.

As I am from Orissa, I don’t know much about B’lore, but I think visiting any nearest Nokia Care will do. Just give them a written complain about it and get a copy of the letter received by the sales executive (with seal, designation & complain no.), its obvious that they’ll deny to receive a copy of the letter but you request them to do so.. And once they receive the letter and book a complain, then see the wonders

shell i know details of anti virus soft ware programmes for my mobile.

I bought NOKIA 2680 mobile one week back. I dont know what happend suddenly mobile diplay is not working. I went to one of the NOKIA CARE centers in BANGALORE. They are saying it is a PHYSICAL DAMAGE, so they are not providing any WARRANTY for that. Even though i didn’t do anything with this mobile i accepted. I asked them how much it costs..they said around 1500-1600. I was calling all the NOKIA CARE centers in BANGAORE nobody is having the LCD for this model.It is waste of buying this mobile.

Please dont buy this mobile.

As it is a Symbian S-40 series handset, I don’t think there is need of AV to be loaded into it.

Please to inform you that some of the nokia care centers are not really giving proper solution. they are simply cheating the clients and taking money. i had a bad experience in bangalore with one of the priority Center. i had given three times for the same problem in my Nokia N73 in two different locations but no one has solved my problem. what i have to do next? could u give me any solution for this.

I bought a Nokia N82 around 4 months ago from an authorised dealer outside India during my onsite trip. Now I am back in India and I have some problems with my phone display like dead pixels showing up and one of the speakers not working. I have the original bill and the warranty card that I got when I bought the phone. So, since the phone is still under warranty, can I get is serviced for free in India?
