Erm….. what this mean. I want connect through phone.

i have taken a internet prepaid connection, and recharged for 152/- as well as 333/-, but don’t know how to connect with my pc, kindly inform me the complete procedure.

I want to be connected to the internet through Vodafone mobile. How can I get it?

Thanks for the post. Detailed as it is i am still unable to connect to the internet on my pc via VMC. I got an activation confirmation message after having applied for an unlimited data plan and hooked up my phone to the pc. I then proceeded to create a dial-up connection using my mobile’s pc suite and tried to connect and it kept failing. Against my instincts i picked up the phone and spoke to vodafone helpdesk who told me that i needed to download the setting by sending a text VMC to 52586. I thanked the operator and did as i was asked. I was sent the configuration by vodafone which fails to install on my mobile for some reasons. After having spoken to them repeatedly they had me configure the browser setting manually which were pre-installed in the vodafone shop when i went to apply for the connection. I can connect to internet on my mobile with the pre-loaded browser application and opera-mini but whenever i connect my mobile to my pc with the USB cable it won’t connect and keeps saying the modem failed to respond. I have followed the settings you’ve mentioned to the T and it still won’t work. Vodafone tech helpdesk has conceded that can’t help anymore and to go to one of the vodafone shops which has a tech support team. Any further suggestions are welcome. Btw my mobile is a samsung touch screen and compatibility is not an issue.

It’s the same person on the two blogs (sanju and doc). I’m still accessing the net on the mobile and that was a replication of the same blog albeit with some differences.

thanks guys! I have been asking Vodafone for the settings for the past 10 days and all I hear is that they'll send me the settings in some time. Even better, I was told settings don't exist for my handset, ASUS P320, and that their GPRS team is working on it

I just created a new modem connection and added www as the acess point, and voila it worked!

Even I have a Samsung touch screen mobile and have the same issue in connecting to internet via the mobile to my PC. Have you resolved your issue ?

What yaar i m not geting any setting to use internet on my lappy through Micromax USB data card.. Even the customer care is also unable to give the setting.. So is there any body who can help me to give the APN, dial number, username n password, so that i can use the internet..

connecting to net is no bid deal turn on ur mobile bluetooth and even ur computers…search for devices thru computer..if ur computer has a modem capability an option would come connect simply click there and u are on the net…..i tried the same with my n70 and htc dezire with a computer having win 7 not sure abt xp but most probably it would work
