One of the India’s free SMS messaging website way2sms.com has announced to release free SMS alerts for emails. Way2SMS sent me an email announcement about this new service. It’s basically a new email service from way2sms which also allows reading emails from gmail & yahoo mail & get alerts via SMS. Here is the complete description of the service:

@Naveen – you should activate your mail alerts in your settings and here is the process 1. Soon after logging in Click on ?Mail alerts? Link on top right corner of the page
2. Now, Click on ?Activate? Link
3. Then choose your alert preferences and click on ?Save & Activate? Button. Finished. You will now receive alerts for incoming mail that arrives in your Way2SMS MAIL Account.

This can be used only with email providers who allow you to forward emails.

Yahoo and hotmail do allow you to doo so unless you are paid members hence Service is not free !!!

this is a coll website geting the email alerts but the orkut scrap mail which is coming in gmail is not send on mobile

orkut scrap entry => gmail mail => way2sms => did not getting on mobile

when way2sms requires email id i provide them bt always a box appears which says that this email id has already been registered by someone.
