Getting Vodafone operator logo for free

Vodafone took over Hutch about 6 months back. Started re-branding a week ago. But still operator logo has not changed, It is showing “Hutch” which many of us don’t want to see. To get free Vodafone logo on your mobile sms “VODAFONE” to toll free number 56565. You will receive Vodafone logo, just save that.

    What about that announcement of Hutch buying some stake in BPL.. everybody has forgotten abt it.. BPL is giving those LOOP ads??

    I don’t know about that.
    But Hutch is no more, It’s dead.
    It itself sold stake to Vodafone :)

    Hey, i came upon your site while googling. Well i have a K750i, and just got vodafone. But its showing me a BPL logo! and when i tried doing what you said, it doesn’t work. Is there another way to do it for sony phones? pls help!

    I don’t know menu of K750i
    But normally goto phone settings, look for display settings, & then check for a setting to turn ON or OFF operator logo.
    ON: will display logo present in your phone. (which is downloaded as mentioned in post)
    OFF: will display operator logo as provided by the network/operator.

    I did send ?VODAFONE? to toll free number 56565 from my HTC Touch but didnt receive any sms back.Can any one help me in getting the logo.On my mobile instead of vodafone some number appears 40427.But if i put my SIM in other phone then there Vodafone appears properly.

    I called up Vodafone and they were saying its compatible for NOKIA phones only , forget all other brands ; I am going back to my good ol’ AIRTEL !!
