Huawei Ideos is one of the most anticipated low-cost android phones right now. Though there are lot of press releases from Huawei published on web saying Ideos U8150 will be released end of December, there’s no sign of this phone in market yet. Just yesterday I looked for this phone at Reliance Digital, Sangeetha Mobiles & Univercell, they weren’t even aware of this phone. Out of curiosity I did a search on ebay today to find a store from Mumbai & a store from Delhi are selling this phone for Rs.9,999. One seller even specified that it’s with warranty.

So, I guess this phone must be hitting the store anytime soon with other two variants X5 & X6. But everyone had predicted the price to be between 6.5k to 8k, on ebay it is 10k! I called up the shop in Mumbai to ask whether they hiked the price since it’s not available anywhere else & he clearly refused that & said it is the true price of the phone.
