Tata Docomo pulls down unlimited GPRS plan within a week of launching it!

Tata Docomo has pulled down the most hyped & popular Unlimited GPRS plan which was available at just Rs.95. Few of my friends called me yesterday saying plan is been on hold. I called customer care & they too said the same. As you can see in the screenshot, Docomo has modified the Unlimited GPRS plan & set the download limit to 100MB, so it’s no longer Unlimited.

Docomo launched this plan exactly a week back, on 18th September, no one would ever thought it will pull this plan off so early. This move by Docomo hurts the trust customers had about it.

Sad news!
But if you still want Unlimited GPRS with unlimited Downloads, why don’t you try Aircel? I donno about the other talk time plans but as far as GPRS is considered, its awesome! just 98 per month – unlimited usage.

nothing happened after this except customers trust on tata docomo has been broken
@avinash aircel gprs is damn slow Rs. 98 is not cheaper

All the TATA concerned companies bluff people, no doubt about it. TATA is a White Elephant, please dont trust it, it is my bitter experience.

GPRS is packet based, wherein GPRS data is handled as a series of “packets” that can be routed over several paths through the network, rather than as a continuous bit-stream over a dedicated dial-up connection.

CMON people who gives a damn about gprs. Wait for 3g to come to india and then see what wonders tata does. Gprs will be obsolete.

Please guys, don’t try aircel internet plan…it is very slow…i’ve thrown away my aircel simcard…it will give you maximum downloading speed only upto 4kb…which is very slow as compared to others.

Wasted my 98 Rs on stupid aircel

it takes 2-4 minz sometimes to load 1 page on my mobile

Oh cool down. Aircel is a cheap one. Also as you thing it is very slow. But it offers the night use. From early morning 2:30 still 7 ’0 clock of morning it is very fast as 462 kbps. See there are use full softwares till free in net to speedup your net connection of your computer which comes through your aircel mobile. Sleep earlier and get up earlier is a good habbit which improves your memorypower. So guys adjust the given opertunity.
It also very speed 2 pm to 4pm. Try it.

hei i m day user , it is difficult 2 use docomo which is mostly 4 nt, hence bsnl is frugal 4 me
