Today (Nov 1st) wikipedia featured Karnataka on it’s home page! This is on occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. Check screen shot:

Source: Gayatri – Yahoo eKannadiga Group, translated to English by me. Kannadigas made big contribution to wikipedia. Almost every article entry related to history of Karnataka got featured as “Featured Article” in Wikipedia. Wkipedia team gets wondered if there is no article about Karnataka in three days.

This is a great tribute to Karnataka, as wikipedia has millions of visits every day & one of the most popular website. Today millions of people worldwide will get to know about our state’s history, culture, language, Arts. Thanks to all those wikipedia editors from Karnataka for creating such a great content about Karnataka.
