Compute and Headstart are twin events organized by ACM Bangalore/Kickstart.in at Bangalore on Jan 18-20th 2008 at the JN Tata complex, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. This is the first time that such an event is being organized that brings together academia, entrepreneurs and industry under one roof. The 3-day event will feature presentations of new products and research; technology tutorials; panel discussions on segments such as consumer services, mobility, enterprise applications and embedded systems; workshops on how to identify business opportunities, raise money, build products and effectively sell them in the marketplace. You don’t want to miss this event if your passion is to see the latest and most exciting technology coming from various research labs in India, or you are looking to hang up your boots and start a new company.

Compute and HeadStart keynotes include Ram Shriram, one of the first investors in Google; Dr Peter Hofstee, a distinguished research from IBM Research and Dr Umeshwar Dayal from the Intelligent Enterprise Lab, HP Labs, USA.
