Are you still using Windows? Time to migrate now! Linux installation fest is happening this weekend in Bangalore. You can cring a blank CD/DVD & take your favorite Linux Distro! It’s not piracy, Linux is a open source free operating system which even you are free to distribute. Linux distros like Ubuntu comes with graphical user interface (GUI) which are very easy to use. Few of graphical effects which are implemented on Windows Vista were there on linux long back!

Here is what happening at fest:

  1. Help you install GNU/Linux on your Laptop/Desktop.
  2. We will show you how to type in Kannada and configure, optimize your system for Kannada.
  3. If you bring an empty CD, we’ll copy your favourite distribution on it for you*. (And this won’t be piracy! You’re also free to distribute those.)
  4. We will answer all your questions related to Kannada on GNU/Linux to the best of our knowledge.

So rush to any stationary shop nearby to get the blank CD/DVDs. Before that register yourself for the event at Habba.in
