It?s already known factor that Twitter supports Unicode & hence supports tweeting in Indian languages. But the problem here is to type tweets in Indic languages, you will have to use some software or Google Transliterate & copy paste from there. So, to make it easy, we have written a Greasemonkey script to embed Google Transliteration right inside Twitter Home page. All you need to have is Firefox & Greasemonkey add on installed on it. Install Google Transliteration for Twitter script to Greasemonkey. After installing the script, you will find a new entry in the menu like below:
Click on ?Show Indic Trans? to get the Google Transliterate Box
Select your language & type in the transliterate text box, copy/paste your tweet from transliteration text box to Twitter text box & click ?Update?. Wow! Tweet in your language is updated! Click ?Hide Indic Transliteration? to hide transliteration text box.
Script is pretty clean which doesn?t changes anything much on your Twitter page except ?Show Indic Trans? menu item. You will see the Transliteration box whenever you click it & click ?Hide Indic Transliteration? whenevr you don?t require it.
